1-Day Projects
Here’s a collection of one-day-projects, each of which went from first sketch to final rendering within 24 hours or less. I use works like this to experiment with new features of the software I use, or just to keep a fresh mind when I’ve been working on the same project for days at a time.
Ferrari-Themed Bluetooth Speaker
Technology wise, Bluetooth speakers are among the simpler devices one can conceive. Since they don’t rely on a specific shape to function, the offer maximum creative freedom. Accordingly, it’s lots of fun to design these.
A capacitive touch stripe is prominently mounted to the front, to allow for absolute volume control instead of relying on plus and minus buttons. The light illuminating it from behind offers immediate feedback.
The speakers back side is flattened to allow for lying it down without it rolling away. It also forces the interface to face up.
